Професор кафедри математики, фізики та методик їх навчання, Марина Друшляк, презентувала результати масштабного дослідження на міжнародній конференції. У доповіді «Moral Dilemmas of Using AI in Academia: What Do Students Think?» дослідниця висвітлила, як українське студентство сприймає етичні кордони використання генеративного ШІ (на прикладі ChatGPT) в освітньому процесі. Марина Григорівна наголосила, що понад половина опитаних студентів досі не знає про існування університетських політик щодо ШІ, а сприйняття технологій балансує між етикою та ефективністю. Доповідь викликала жваву дискусію про необхідність трансформації навчання, підвищення ШІ-грамотності та залучення молоді до розроблення прозорих правил взаємодії з новітніми технологіями в академічному просторі.

Marina Drushlyak, a professor in the Department of Mathematics, Physics, and Teaching Methods, presented the results of a large-scale study at an international conference. In her presentation, “Moral Dilemmas of Using AI in Academia: What Do Students Think?”, the researcher highlighted how Ukrainian students perceive the ethical boundaries of using generative AI (using ChatGPT as an example) in the educational process. Marina Drushlyak emphasized that more than half of the surveyed students are still unaware of the existence of university policies regarding AI, and perceptions of the technology balance between ethics and effectiveness. The presentation sparked a lively discussion about the need to transform education, improve AI literacy, and involve young people in developing transparent rules for interacting with the latest technologies in the academic sphere.
